What is $RESERVE
Reserve collects protocol fees and diverts them into yield strategies to accumulate more APT. It's also fundamentally financial focused, providing at all times an extractable intrinsic book value for token holders.
Similar to how MicroStrategy transformed corporate treasury management through Bitcoin accumulation, Aptos Reserve creates an entirely on-chain equivalent that leverages validator and network infrastructure, DeFi primitives, and other strategies to generate revenue.
Protocol Mechanics
The protocol collects fees from trading on the RESERVE/APT pool and automatically converts them to APT, with 50% flowing directly back to the Echelon RESERVE-APT isolated pool to establish an intrinsic book value accessible to all token holders at a 95% LTV. This creates a measurable floor price that grows with every trade executed on the platform.
The other 50% of fees is sent towards Treasury Strategies in three buckets:
1) Yield Generation (35% of fees): A multi-strategy approach including automated APT LST looping, sUSDe/USDC looping, and other optimized stablecoin farming across Aptos protocols.
2) Leveraged APT perpetual position (10% of fees): A 1.5-2x perpetuals position to create asymmetric upside exposure
3) Liquid Market purchases (5% of fees) of relevant Aptos ecosystem tokens, where strong growth catalysts can be identified
